The Hawthorn Bowling Club is a Lawn Bowls club situated in the Boroondara Council area of Melbourne, Australia.
The club was founded in 1880 and still operates today as one of the oldest running bowls clubs in the country.
Its current members are not only local residents of Hawthorn, but also from other areas in Boroondara and
around the rest of Melbourne.
HBC is supported through its paying members, and also small and large groups that either come to play a friendly game of bowls, or to hold a meeting or function at our Clubhouse.
The club continues to look for new members and players to keep thriving and maintain the spirit of Lawn Bowling in Melbourne.
